Day after the adoption in Danang (9/5)

While Adam caught up on some much needed and much deserved sleep, Lilly and I took a walk on the beach in Danang (the picture of Lilly and me on the beach below was taken by me). We were the only souls on the beach, and it was so serene. I told Lilly how much I love her and told her about her big brother, Eli who was waiting for her in Hanoi.

I had lunch with several of the other mothers (with our babies on our laps) from our group, and we just exchanged our feelings of joy until Adam came to get me so that we could pack up our room and say goodbye to Danang. It was time to head "home" to Hanoi to introduce Lilly to her big brother.

Fashion Note: Lilly is wearing one of the possible choices for the giving and receiving ceremony. We ended up keeping her in the dress provided by the orphanage, as it was very cute. Thank you to Kathy for all of the awesome clothes passed on by Dani and Ally.
