Time to meet big brother, Eli

When we arrived back at our hotel with our video camera queued up (which is a serviced apartment with laundry and a kitchen) at about 9pm or so, Eli and Chloe were sleeping. We were a little bit disappointed, but we were not about to wake him up. He slept in the bed with Lilly, as she howled if we put her in the crib, and we also thought it would help us bond with her (plus it was yummy)!
I heard Eli wake up with Chloe at about 4am, and I was so excited to see my Eli Pie. I left Adam sleeping in the bed with Lilly, and I came out to see Eli. I was welcomed with a "mommy mommy mommy" greeting where he ran and leaped into my arms (his grandparents are familiar with this delioucious greeting too).
Eli quickly asked me, "where is baby sister?", and I explained she was sleeping. Eli wanted to watch her sleep. I talked him out of it. Next, Adam woke up and got his Eli greeting (the famous one I described above), and Adam brought Eli to peak at his baby sister, Lilly. I followed them. It was just a quick peak. We all waited with anticipation for Lilly to wake up, and when she did, Adam was ready with the video camera. Eli was very sweet with his baby sister. He wanted to show her his guitar and teach her about his movies and throw her a ball. He loved her already, but he wished she could play more. After a while Eli asked, "Where is Lilly?", and I realized he thought baby sister and Lilly where two different people so we had to explain that they were one the same (how cute!).
Below are some photos of Eli and Lilly's first meeting (and no, we are not related the the pharmaceutical company of Eli Lilly!)
Note about the pictures: We took more video than pictures, and we have much better pictures than these, but these were the first of the two siblings.
