Embassy Appointment and then Dinner at Hanoi Garden

We had our second Embassy appointment yesterday, and got our approval. Now all we have to do is wait for the Visa which is expected Monday afternoon. We are heading home four days early on September 18! We are having a blast in Vietnam, but we are also starting to get ready to settle in at home. Everyone agreed, with the approval in place and the Visa soon to come, we should rearrange our schedule.

While Eli and Adam did some male bonding, the girls went out for some shopping and dinner. Pam (I) picked up the custom-made outfits which looked very nice and ordered one more for myself. Who can beat these prices? I paid $45 for a custom-made 100% silk dress. We then ventured out to Hanoi Garden for some Chinese/Vietnamese cuisine. We paid a total of $17 for two beverages, two main courses, and dessert. I had a Curry dish, and Chloe had fish cooked in banana leaf. The food was very good. As usual, Lilly was a doll. We had invited Eli, but he preferred to stay in the apartment with dad. The heat is a bit too much for him.

The picture above is of Chloe's dish and me feeding Lilly at the restaurant.

The picture below is of Lilly in the cute outfit she was in this night (thanks Kathy).
